Our Story

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and rise in small town in Montellano, Puerto Plata, I began my journey throught life. I am the oldest daughter of an Agriculture engineer Radhames Luna and his wife Adalgiza Pena. Luna, a hardworking man, raised his three daughters in a very discipline way. It was from him that I learned the meaning of hard work, responsibility, and determination.

Sheyla, after leaving home in 1996, came to the United States and decided to move to the city. Went I came to New York City I worked as a cashier for several years. I loved my job but yearned to get a college education. In the fall on 2001, I earned an scholarship and enrolled at the Fordham University, Rose Hill campus. From there I quickly realized that I love to help other and support others. Soon I made the decision to I was going to study to become a Sociologist.

My educational background in sociology, along with my professional experience, makes me an excellent candidate to support your family achieve your American dream and become part of this great nation.
